The staff at Scott A. Dinesen and Associates consists of dedicated, professionals who are committed to providing quality care through team effort, education and patient satisfaction.
Scott Andrew Dinesen, D.O., F.A.C.O.G.
I opened the doors to this practice in 1995, after completion of my OB/GYN residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Having grown up in Bucks County, but leaving for College at the University of Southern Colorado, then attending graduate school, and finally attending Medical School at Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami, FL, I was thrilled to return to my roots following all of my medical training. I am Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am the current Director of OB/GYN services at Doylestown Hospital. I was the first to perform and continue to be the most experienced Gynecologist in Robotic Assisted Surgery, in Bucks County, using the daVinci system. With a Master’s Degree in embryology from Rutgers University, my interests have led me to specialize in the treatment of Infertility issues, as well as, the management of a variety of high risk Obstetrical issues. In addition to private practice, I am also the Medical Director of the Healthy Beginnings Plus clinic, which I established at Doylestown Hospital in 1998. Through the clinic, we seek to provide care to teenage and underinsured obstetrical patients in the Bucks County area. After years of coaching soccer and teaching Sunday School, I am now living a quieter life in Doylestown with my wife and six dogs, while our kids have headed off to college. |

Melanie Ware, D.O.
Dinesen & Associates is pleased to announce that Dr. Melanie Ware, D.O. has joined the practice in July 2010. Dr. Ware graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006 and completed her four-year residency at St. Luke’s Hospital. Dr. Ware is trained in high- risk obstetrics and minimally invasive advanced laparoscopy and is excited to join Dr. Dinesen and his medical team. Dr. Ware is a graduate of C.B East High School in Doylestown. She went on to play volleyball at Townson University in Townson, Maryland where upon graduation from college she married Joseph Ware III. Joe is now practicing physical therapy in Newtown, PA. Melanie and Joe have two young children and look forward to joining the Doylestown community with family and friends nearby. We welcome her to the practice and look forward to her contribution and commitment to providing our patients with excellent care. |

Kamela King, P.A.C.
Kamela is a certified Physician’s Assistant (PA-C) who was part of the practice since the opening. She received a BS at King’s college. Kamela spent two years in general and plastic surgery then two years at St. Luke’s Hospital as a PA for the Department of OB/Gyn. She is certified to perform all functions of your care in the office that Dr Dinesen does, and is his surgical assistant in the operating room. She is licensed to perform exams, minor office surgery, infertility treatments, ultrasound, and first assistant at major surgeries (hysterectomy, cesarean section, and is certified for daVinci Robotic surgery first assist). Outside the office she is busy with her family (husband and two children) and devotes much time to her church. |

Office Staff
At Dinesen & Associates we have a small group of committed individuals as our clinical staff that strives to meet your needs. They are exceptional at customer service and are dedicated to making your visit as easy as possible. We have no phone triage service; all of your calls are answered by one of these staff members who will then find the appropriate way to help provide the service you need. They are the group that greets you, collects all of your information, draws your blood, and helps make any outside appointments (Ultrasound, CAT scans, referrals, etc). They are Lori, Val, Amanda, Jael, and Sara. Christine Oloviany is the practice Business Manager.
